Konjaku Shin was established in 1978 by Sensei Dave Kershaw, who now holds the rank of 8th Dan black belt.
He was Six Times British Champion, and a former British team member, competing in many European and World Championships. He is available for courses and examinations worldwide.

Konjaku Shin International teaches and promotes Traditional Shotokan Karate, for self-defence. Our aim is to teach everyone, regardless of size, age or sex, to defend themselves against unprovoked attack. With the focus on developing correct and efficient technique rather than mere strength, and with expert instruction and regular practice, everyone can benefit

We welcome membership requests from individuals, clubs and groups worldwide. We currently have affiliates in the UK, Hong Kong and India.
