Konjaku Shin International
Chief Instructor
SENSEI DAVE KERSHAW 8th Dan
Sensei Kershaw is a student of Japanese Master HANSHI SHIRO ASANO 9th Dan.
He has been a professional instructor since 1979.
In 1987 he became SKI(GB) Men's Kata Champion, and went on to retain the title a record six consecutive times. He is a former international competitor, competing in European and World Championships in many parts of the world.
Sensei Kershaw regularly visits India to teach and conduct examinations.
Konjaku Shin Hong Kong

SENSEI ANDREW KENDALL 7th Dan
Sensei Kendall has trained extensively with many of the top Japanese masters, in particular
MASTER HIROKAZU KANAZAWA 10th Dan
He has lived in Hong Kong for 35 years, where he has taught daily at his own dojo in Discovery bay.
Sensei Kendall is the author of the "SKIF Grading Syllabus", a highly regarded book owned by many Shotokan practitioners.
He currently works as a bodyguard, and private instructor in Hong Kong.


Konjaku Shin India

SENSEI DEV MEHTA 6th Dan
Sensei Dev Mehta has trained with Sensei Kershaw since 2001. He oversees the development of Konjaku Shin in India, and works tirelessly in promoting karate across the country.
He lives in Mumbai, and is charge of all affiliations in India.
In 2020 Sensei Kershaw awarded Dev his 6th Dan for his dedication and achievements in karate.
